Safety pins have been an iconic punk symbol since the 70s, so for this necklace I used a 1 1/2" long stainless steel safety pin pendant as the center. It's attached to a uniquely textured box chain that layers really well with other chains. You can even open the safety pin (it's blunt, not sharp) and style it differently by attaching it further up the chain to leave a small tail hanging down.
